The business
Boquete Bees and Butterflies is a honey and coffee farm with a butterfly house and cabins in Boquete, Panama. Its visitors search in two languages: international travelers in English, and people from the region in Spanish.
What I did
- I went to the farm first. I recorded the kickoff meeting, took the tour and interviewed one of the guides, so I understood what they do before writing about it.
- I measured demand in Google Trends, topic by topic, so each piece answers something people actually search for.
- I wrote 34 articles: 17 topics in English and Spanish, each version written on its own.
- I traced every claim to a source. When two sources disagreed, we settled it with the owner before anything went live.
- I left the system in place: voice guide, style rules, SEO checklist and fact-checking process, so whoever writes next keeps the same voice.
